Tarpon Town Anglers started in 2002 as an ecotouring company under the name of EcoKayak Tours in the bay of Campeche focusing more into Kayak Fishing Catch & Release only Tours. Migrating to boat fishing according to requirements of the flyfishing industry, potencially became the #1 operation in Campeche City Bay. In 2008 we Started with the same group of guides and staff exploratory trips to Scorpion Atoll where we were amazed since the very first trip. Huge bones and permit were part of everyday expediton, the largest in Mexican Water for sure. In 2021 during the pandemics we added a new operation lead by a personal friend and tarpon fishing enthusiast in a place that is been referred by the name when fishing Xcalak but its a different part of the big bay where Chetumal city flats are, so the exploration went extraordinary, and still ongoing….
